Ecopool uses the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. Ecopool does not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. Such addresses are not shared with outside parties.
Ecopool uses non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our Ecopool.com site and to share with advertisers. For example, Ecopool may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our Ecopool website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but Ecopool would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals. Finally, Ecopool never uses or shares the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, Ecopool never collects or maintains information at Ecopool.com from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of Ecopool.com is structured to attract anyone under 13.

You can access all your personally identifiable information that Ecopool collects online and maintains by calling us and verifying your identity. Ecopool.com uses this procedure to better safeguard your information. You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows the error. To protect your privacy and security, Ecopool will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
Ecopool's Right to Contact User
Ecopool reserves the right to contact site visitors and account holders regarding account status, quote follow-ups, order updates, changes to the subscriber agreement, privacy policy, or any other policies or agreements relevant to site visitors. This may include contact by phone call, text message (SMS/MMS), or email as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

Ecopool reserves the right to change this policy at any time by notifying visitors of the existence and location of the new or revised privacy policy.
Pool Designer: Photos, Renderings and Usage Data
Our free Pool Designer (ecopool.com/pool-designer/) is governed by the Pool Designer Terms together with this Privacy Policy. This section explains what the Designer collects and how it is used.
What we collect. The design choices you make (shape, size, features, look, installation, equipment, budget and project ZIP code); backyard photos you upload, the versions the Designer makes from them (resized copies and the copy with the pool placed on it) and the renderings generated from them; a random identifier stored in your browser and a session identifier; the screens you visit, the options you choose, timing, page, referrer, device and browser information and a hashed (one-way) form of your network address; the version of the Pool Designer Terms you accepted and when; and, when you email a design or request a quote or review, your name, email address, phone number, contact preference, project ZIP code and notes.
How we use it. To generate your layouts and renderings and keep your saved designs and share links working; to review, price, plan and build projects and to contact you about them; to understand how the Designer is used and improve it; to train, test and improve our design, rendering, matching and pricing tools and other automated systems; to show designs, photos and renderings in Ecopool marketing as permitted by the Pool Designer Terms; to enforce usage limits and protect against abuse; and to keep records and meet legal obligations.
Who can see it. Ecopool staff and contractors can view uploaded photos, renderings, designs, usage data and contact details in our internal systems. Anyone with a share link can see the design and its rendering. Photos, designs and renderings connected to a quote request may be shared with the dealer, installer or builder handling your project. We use service providers to host the Designer, generate renderings (currently Google's generative AI services), send email and measure usage; they process this information for us under their own terms. We do not sell your photos or contact details.
Retention. Designs, photos, renderings and usage records are kept for as long as Ecopool has a business purpose for them, including product improvement, training data, records of quotes and orders, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of stored photos and renderings through our Contact page by giving the design link or the email address used; deletion does not affect models already trained, aggregated statistics or copies we must keep, as described in the Pool Designer Terms.
Your choices. You can use the Designer without uploading a photo or giving any contact details. You can clear the draft and identifiers stored in your browser by clearing site data. Email delivery and quote requests are optional, and marketing email has its own unsubscribe.
