REIMAGINING POOL INTERIORS

Architectural 3D Membrane

At the intersection of design and technology, Ecopool's Architectural Membrane delivers 3D designs that revolutionize both the look and feel of the pool's interior surface. Inspired by the intricate patterns found in nature, each design element serves more than just an aesthetic purpose—it creates a tactile experience that is meticulously refined for the unique environment of a swimming pool.

AN INTERIOR LIKE NO OTHER

3D Design Technology

Architectural designs with advanced embossing capture the subtle nuances of natural textures, creating surfaces engineered to mimic the gentle surfaces of nature. The precision of the 3D membrane achieves a balance in texture that's crucial for pool safety and comfort—surfaces are not too smooth and slippery, nor too rough, which could be uncomfortable or abrasive.

The raised patterns add a three-dimensional richness to the pool surface, echoing the tactile feel of elements such as layered rock formations. Each embossed pattern is crafted to offer just the right texture—providing grip to ensure safety while remaining comfortable to touch for hours of enjoyment.

A Fusion of Innovation and Sustainability

The Zycore™ Architectural Membrane represents a fusion of innovation and sustainability. At the forefront of Ecopool's commitment to quality is a commercial-grade, German-engineered pool membrane celebrated for its durability and superior quality. In Germany and throughout Europe, where quality is non-negotiable, reinforced membranes are the interior finish of choice for commercial pools. This meticulous attention to detail is now the clear choice for those who value quality above all else.

OUTPERFORM. OUTLAST.

Zycore™: Built to Last

Zycore is a revolutionary composite material that combines the flexibility of polymers with the strength of a polyester matrix, making it a standout in materials science. Originally specified in commercial pool construction for its long-lasting properties, Zycore is specified for both residential and commercial applications by Ecopool.

Exceptional Strength: Tensile strength of approximately 3190 psi—several times that of typical concrete mixes.
Durability Under Pressure: Resists UV damage, harsh chemicals, and temperature fluctuations for lasting performance.
Eco-Friendly: Fully recyclable, reflecting Ecopool's dedication to sustainability.

BUILT FOR ANYTHING

Performance Under Extreme Conditions

Zycore is designed to excel in harsh environments where strong chemicals may be present. It is UV resistant, handles temperature fluctuations well, and is resistant to bacteria and fungus. The result is a longer lifespan and reduced maintenance requirements. This membrane stands up exceptionally well against harsh pool chemicals and sunlight, maintaining its integrity and appearance over time without the common susceptibility to fading or degradation seen in other materials.

Zycore's environmental sustainability is equally impressive. Fully recyclable, it aligns perfectly with Ecopool's planet friendly ethos, providing a responsible choice for environmentally conscious consumers.

ZYCORE VS. TRADITIONAL GUNITE AND PLASTER

Zycore™ Interiors vs. Traditional Gunite and Plaster

The choice of material defines not only the look but also the feel and long-term performance. Zycore offers a refined, premium finish that surpasses traditional gunite or plaster options commonly used in the United States.

A Surface Like No Other: Gunite and plaster can often leave a rough, abrasive surface. Over time, these finishes become prone to chipping, staining, and costly refinishing.
Comfortable Texture: Zycore delivers a smooth, seamless surface that's visually stunning and a pleasure to touch. Unlike rough plaster, it provides a gentler, non-abrasive feel underfoot.
Engineered for Longevity: Traditional finishes often show signs of wear within a few years. Zycore reinforced membranes are built to endure.
Stain-Resistant: The non-porous surface resists staining from chemicals, minerals, or organic debris.
Durable Against Movement: While plaster can crack under ground shifts or freeze-thaw cycles, Zycore flexes to accommodate structural changes.

AN ECOPOOL EXCLUSIVE

Advantages of Zycore™

Perfect Uniformity: Zycore membranes provide a consistent color and texture across the entire pool, something difficult to achieve with hand-applied plaster.
Architectural Options: Choose from finishes that replicate marble, stone, sand, or modern minimalistic tones for a tailored design.
Ease of Maintenance: Non-porous surfaces prevent algae and dirt buildup, drastically simplifying cleaning.
Chemical Efficiency: A smooth surface ensures water chemistry is easier to balance, saving time and money on pool upkeep.
